Apple is reportedly facing an investigation from the Fair Trade Commission in Japan. The news was first reported by the Mainichi newspaper, with the investigation focusing on Apple’s relationship with its Japanese suppliers. As detailed by Reuters, Japan’s Fair Trade Commission is investigating whether Apple “abused its position of power” and violated antimonopoly rules when pressuring Japanese part makers. A survey conducted by the Fair Trade Commission says that Apple signed contracts “forcing firms to provide free technology and know-how for parts manufacturing....
Justice League star Jason Momoa is assuring fans that while his version of Arthur Curry in the DC team up film might seem overly gruff, he’s going to be much more fleshed out in next year’s Aquaman solo film. The Game of Thrones veteran cameoed as the Atlantean hero in last year’s Batman V Superman, and we’ll be getting our first proper introduction to the hero in Justice League, where he’s recruited by Batman (Ben Affleck) and Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot) to help thwart the evil warlord Steppenwolf, who’s come to conquer Earth in the wake of Superman’s (Henry Cavill) death....

Jailbreak tweak developer Filippo Bigarella released his newest piece of iPhone-modding software, called “LivelyIcons”, today. The tweak itself is simple: it adds fun animations to your iPhone’s homescreen icons when you open an application. You can find a video of it in action right here. The animations aren’t the only reason to buy it, though. Biga has also announced via a blog post that he will donate the proceeds from this tweak to two foundations that focus on funding research to fight pediatric cancer....
